” Where do I start and how do I end…. It’s a challenge to describe what Dr. Ranjana Dhanu means to me!!! Of all that she is to me, a gynac comes at the end of the list. After a series of horrendous experiences at the hands of some of well known doctors, Dr. Ranjana was a god send for me and my husband. Although a bit late in my pregnancy, I saw her in my 7th month. For the first time ever, I decided to read her reviews before visiting her and I was amazed to see that all her testimonials described her to be god-like in different vocab and expressions. Dr Ranjana Dhanu is an amazing gynaecologist who is compassionate, caring and very good at building trust with her patients.
Heavy menstrual bleeding impacts the quality of your life. I used to have heavy bleeding and extensive pain in the abdomen, pelvic region and legs every single month. Dr. Dhanu advised an ultrasound which detected a bulky uterus with multiple fibroids, the largest being 4 cm.
She ensured I had a very smooth surgery. Her visits, both pre op and post op, and the fact that you have a smiling doctor at the operation table puts you at ease. Now, I am finally back to having a normal pain free life.
When she takes over your case she is there for you at every stage of your diagnosis and healing. Not only has she taken great care of my health, but she is also lovely to speak with every time. We are fortunate to have become parents under the guidance of Dr. Ranjana Dhanu. Our journey was not a planned one and thus was not an easy one from the beginning till the day the baby was delivered but Dr. Dhanu’s clear, unhurried vision enabled us to stay stress-free throughout.
At the very start she told us, (quoting her) “I’m your mother for the next 9 months; you can come to me for anything darling”. And to our surprise, she meant every single word.
Throughout the pregnancy and post-pregnancy, she was always approachable, always a phone call/ Whatsapp message away.
To say the least Dr. Ranjana is warm, loving and a superb listener. We felt at times she was reading our heart and our mind, at the same time. Her advice helped us enjoy the difficult phases as we could clearly believe in her.
Our baby came 2 weeks before the due date and on a blessed day, we were least expecting it to happen. But not once we felt a hiccup. Dr. Dhanu is very meticulous and she took it as her responsibility to ensure our hospital stay was comfortable and enjoyable as a brand new family.
Postpartum care is one of the most ignored areas of pregnancy in India but Dr. Dhanu helped me love myself. She took care of me while we all were in awe with the new baby. She guided me to stabilise my emotions and helped me cope up with the new challenges.
Her care and love are purely from her heart and they have reached us from the very first time we met her.
Dr. Ranjana Dhanu has spoiled us as patients as we today feel under-serviced by other doctors. You can only understand this statement if you have consulted her!

My gynaecologist called me her baby and pampered me and privileged me like one for 9 months and when the d day came she hugged me tight when the anesthesiologist gave me “the epidural”!
My postpartum journey was full of dark chocolates, Chinese yumminess, and luxurious bath essentials. Dr. Ranjana made me understand that I have got to look after myself to be able to look after my baby 🙂
She checked all the reports in detail and explained the facts. Unfortunately, there was no option but to discontinue but she ensured to have all essential tests to identify the root cause before we discontinue the pregnancy.
She suggested rest for few months and prepared both of us well for my next pregnancy. We were suggested the right food, exercise, medical supplements in line with our medical conditions. She was an integral part of our planning. We felt that she was a family member rather than a Doctor. Her detail knowledge of the subject, experience, skills, confidence, positivity, convincing power and very caring nature makes her an exceptional personality. Whenever I consult any other Doctor for any other issues than gynac, I always miss that special factor she has.
